FIND COMMUNITY IN GCC GROUPS

WHAT ARE GROUPS?

A Group at GCC consists of a group of people gathered in a home or in the church building on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis to study the Bible, pray, build relationships, and do life together. GCC Life Groups exist to edify believers by connecting them on a more personal level and helping to be more like Jesus. They also exist to evangelize by offering a time outside of the normal Sunday service, which can sometimes be more intimidating to some and provides another avenue for those interested in finding out more about Jesus.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A GROUP GATHERING?

During a Life Group here at GCC you will find a loving, supportive and trusting atmosphere. GCC Life Groups are open to those seeking a relationship and ones wanting to strengthen their relationship with Jesus. Also you will find a time of Bible study, prayer and connection.

BECOMING A GROUP LEADER

Here at GCC we believe being in community in every area of life is essential. Being a Group Leader is an extremely important role within the church that helps facilitate healthy, thriving communities where people can build relationships, make connections and grow.

Each Group Leader has the responsibility to create a place for people to disciple, be discipled and ultimately build their relationship with Jesus.

Group Leaders must understand that their role is not taken lightly and for this reason, we want to make sure the required expectations are known before stepping into this role.
